This 20w PV Logic solar panel roof and deck top kit enables the solar panel to be professionally fitted to the roof of a caravan, motorhome or yacht. The 20w panel can deliver up to 130wh per day and as such a degree of self-sufficiency can be achieved where power demand is limited to lighting, mobile device charging. Supplied with all you need to fit the panel including a 10Ah dual battery charge controller, cable feed gland, bonding agent, a 4m cable, connectors, fuse and detailed installation instructions. The 10Amp Dual Battery Charge Controller is for off-grid solar systems and has the additional functionality that it can charge to batteries simultaneously and can work on both 12v or 24v systems.

The Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a shipboard broadcast VHF transponder system, sending data about the identity of a ship. Its name, MMSI number, its latitude, longitude, speed, course and heading. All vessels over 300 gross tonnage and all passenger vessels are obliged to carry an AIS transponder. This transponder assists in traffic monitoring, management and collision prevention. The data is sent continuously and is useful to yachtsmen, particularly in busy shipping areas.
