Airmar 44-197-1-01 DST800L B122 Long Stem Bronze Thru-Hull 235kHz Triducer NMEA 2000 The DST800L is a long stem version of Airmar's Smart, TRIDUCER Multisensor that offers depth, speed, and temperature functions in one compact thru-hull fitting. The DST800L is a low-profile, retractable, thru-hull sensor that computes accurate depth and temperature data and sends it to any NMEA2000 display or network. Airmar's Smart Sensors have embedded microelectronics—the transducer element and signal processor are only millimeters apart. The signal from the depth transducer is processed right inside the sensor itself. All that is needed to receive depth and temperature data is a single cable into a compatible network or display.The wide port-starboard, fan shaped beam is able to find bottom even when installed on high-deadrise hulls or on sailboats when heeled.

The included High-Performance Fairing vertically orients the sound beam for strong return echoes, resulting in optimal performance. The Smart, digital, signal processing inside the housing sends depth and temperature data to a chart plotter, radar screen, or digital display eliminating the need for a dedicated depth sounder. And being retractable, the insert can be removed for servicing and storage.
