Description
The Centek 1602926 Vernalift waterlock features a ‘Side In – Top Out’ dual stage configuration with the inlet port at the bottom of the muffler body and a 45&Deg; angled outlet port on top. This OE waterlock is appropriate for use with inboard engines only and should be installed below the engine as the lowest point of the exhaust system. It must be installed above the waterline and is suitable for petrol (gas) or diesel applications. It has Centek’s best sound absorbing properties of 25-30 dB depending on the engine it is being used with.
Centek Dual Stage lift mufflers incorporate an extra chamber inside the body to further enhance sound muffling capabilities. It is the equivalent of having 2 mufflers in the system. This dual stage waterlock features a drain spigot, but this can be blanked off for general applications.
The Centek range of exhaust waterlocks are made from heat resistant GRP (glass reinforced plastic) along with the rest of their wet exhaust system components. Because of this construction, the waterlocks are corrosion resistant and can withstand heat up to 177øC (350øF). The Centek exhaust range is ABS, ABYC, Lloyds and UL approved.
The Centek Vernalift is only suitable for use in wet exhaust systems and should be used with approved rubber marine exhaust hose.
