Description
The Centek 1500066 Vernalift waterlock features a ‘Top In – Top Out’ configuration. This waterlock is appropriate for use with inboard engines, sailboats and generators, but should be installed below the engine as the lowest point of the exhaust system. It can be installed above or below the waterline and is suitable for petrol (gas) or diesel applications. It has better sound absorbing properties of 22-28 dB depending on the engine it is being used with.
The Centek range of exhaust waterlocks are made from heat resistant GRP (glass reinforced plastic) along with the rest of their wet exhaust system components. Because of this construction, the waterlocks are corrosion resistant and can withstand heat up to 177øC (350øF). The Centek exhaust range is ABS, ABYC, Lloyds and UL approved.
The Centek Vernalift is only suitable for use in wet exhaust systems and should be used with approved rubber marine exhaust hose.
Please Note: This Centek Waterlock has a small capacity, so please ensure that the water drain back is suitable for your installation.
