Commercially-Rated Admiral Series Fluid Linked Steering System for boats over 8m with twin outboard motors

Description

This HyDrive kit has been developed for applications where a physical tie bar cannot be used and for boats over 8m where longer lengths of standard diameter hose would mean increased hydraulic resistance and heavy steering at the helm.

This kit uses the Hydrive 401 Helm with hard wearing stainless steel helm shaft and 2x Hydrive 211BH bullhorn cylinders, which contain no aluminium and are electrically isolated from the outboard and boat, reducing chance of electrolysis and extending life of the steerng system. Hose is upgraded to the larger diameter N12 nylon which ensures low line resistance. Helm and CAT Valve / Synchronisation Valve fittings are to suit N12 hose and 4x N12 – flexihose straight joiners are included, to allow fitment of flexihose at the end of the N12 hose in the splashwell(s) to the bullhorn cylinders.

This kit does not include lengths flexi-hose or bulkhead fittings. Hoses can be made to order at the lengths required and bulkhead fittings supplied if/as required at additional cost.  Please advise.

Rating:

For 2x Normal Rotation outboards totalling up to 300hp or 2x Counter Rotation outboards  (1x RH & 1x LH rotation) totalling up to 600hp.  Please advise outboard make and model when ordering in case an alternative link arm is required.
