Description
The HyDrive Commander COMKIT-SPORT is a complete hydraulic steering kit designed for family leisure boats, combining the tube mount 512T cylinder with the Model 400 helm. It suits single outboards up to 135HP, or twin counter-rotating outboards up to 250HP total, offering the reliability of hydraulic steering at an economical price, without the jammed cables that come with conventional cable steering.
The 512T cylinder screws directly onto the outboard motor’s tilt-tube or pivot-tube, in exactly the same way as a conventional cable steering unit, making it a straightforward swap for boats currently running cable steering. Like other tube mount cylinders, it requires very little clearance to the side of the outboard motor, making it a practical fit for smaller leisure boat transoms.
As a complete kit, the COMKIT-SPORT is supplied with everything required for installation and first fill, so no separate parts need to be sourced to complete the fit-out.
