Outboard Transom Bracket Mount Adminral Series Steering Kit (OBKIT5)

Description

The OBKIT5 bracket mount cylinder kit can be ideal for outboards mounted on very thick transoms and jack plates, The front mount steering cylinder (ram), is fixed directly to the 4 holes often found on the centre section of Outboard Motor transom brackets, reducing the distance travelled when tilting compared to bullhorn cylinders. It’s rated up to 235hp with a single installation, and 470hp with a counter-rotating pair.

HyDrive cylinders integrate unique internal insulation between mismatched metals. This design choice eliminates the primary cause of galvanic corrosion in standard systems. The HyDrive Admiral Series offers a chromed brass bronze and stainless steel cylinder with a stainless shaft helm – truly built for the toughest marine environment.

• 401Helm:  28cc/rev In-built Lock valve 
• Model 216FM cylinder: Capacity:- 154cc Stroke:- 203mm 
• 2 litres ULTRA-15 fluid
• 15 mtrs 3/8” OD Nylon tubing
• Bleeding Kit
• All fittings

WHEEL TURNS lock to lock with the standard 401 helm = 4.9. Alternatively, the 402 helm can be supplied = 3.9 Turns. Please specify upon ordering.
