Description
A discreet and stealth installed GPS/RF tracker that monitors the movements of your pride and joy in real-time, allowing you to view status and journey history 24/7 with notification of unauthorised movements, and in the unfortunate event of a theft – a Theft Response and recovery team will be deployed.
Once you have registered your unit you have total control. You can manage your device settings, notifications, view journeys and more. Our Secure Operations Centre (SOC) will actively monitor your device 24/7 and will contact you should the unthinkable happen.
Notifications and Alerts
Once you have a subscription you will have access to a secure web portal along with an Apple or Android App, you will be able to control all the following alerts:
- Low External Battery:
- Manage your vehicle battery – you will be able to monitor your asset battery, should it drop you will receive an alert. The threshold can be set by the user between 11v upto 12.4v to accommodate lithium batteries.
- Low Internal Battery:
- This relates to the tracking device internal battery and will only be seen if we have lost external charge. It will be represented on the app as a percentage of battery life left.
- Movement Alert:
- This is triggered if the asset is moved for a short duration without the ignition being turned on.
- Phone Call:
- Will receive a call from an operative at the SOC which is manned 24/7
- Outboard Over:
- Should your outboard be knocked over with the ignition off, we will let you know.
- Geo-Fence:
- A GEO fence is a virtual perimeter set around the asset, which allows for movement with an alert triggered if moved from the area without the ignition being turned ON.
Features
Here are some of the features that you will have full control of via the web dashboard or Apple/Android App.
- Servicing Mode:
- This allows the user to turn off all alerts and SOC calls while the vehicle for example, is being worked on or transported. It can be quickly set via the APP for up to 30 days, and it will reset itself automatically after the time you specify has passed.
- Self-Maintaining:
- The unit has its own internal battery, so it does not rely solely on the machine’s own battery for power. If it detects a drop in the machine’s voltage, you will receive a helpful text to tell you so. The internal battery lasts for up to 30 days.
- Speed:
- Your recorded journeys can show your speed at plotted points during your journey. However, if you would rather not record such information you can turn this off in the ‘configuration’ section.
- Journey Report Feature:
- This calculates the total number of journeys made (a journey is created by an ignition On/Off cycle) and total mileage and hours used is covered since the device was first installed. All journeys are downloadable in a GPX format “Route” or “Track log” via the web dashboard.
- Mileage:
- We record GPS mileage and hours used. This will not match exactly the vehicle odometer but will be close and can be adjusted to match. We use this information to inform the Service Overview which you can use to create reminders such as service intervals and MOT reminders, based on mileage and time. You can set customised safety reminders, for example, to check your tyres and pressures once a month.
- Holiday Mode:
- Holiday Mode allows you to received alerts if there is any unauthorised use of your Asset with its keys, for example following a break-in and theft of your keys from your home while you are away on holiday. Holiday Mode can be enabled for a maximum of 30 days, and your Asset will return to Standard Mode when either the exit time is reached or you manually change it back. The Secure Operating Centre will attempt to contact you about any breach. We recommend adding a secondary contact to your account who can be contacted should you be unavailable while abroad.

Recognised by Insurers
This is a Thatcham S7 accredited tracking product. This means that our products have been independently tested by Thatcham, who are funded by the insurers and our accredited product is recognised by the insurance industry and may attract a premium discount up to 12%, in conjunction with CESAR an additional 12.5% can be achieved with the device
In cooperation with Securitas, ATVTrac is able to offer a ‘Response Service’, in the event of Police being unable to attend a theft in good time. This nationwide service enables an SIA accredited operative to visit the location and secure the stolen vehicle.
ATVTrac is the only tracker to offer this extra level of protection making sure your vehicle is secured once found, if the police can’t attend in a timely fashion.
Security Response & Recovery
All tracking products rely on the Police being able to attend, with the general Police cutbacks and more vehicles now using tracking technology, there are occasions where Police are unable to attend as quickly as we would hope.
Partnership with SECURITAS
Nationwide coverage, all staff are SIA accredited and DBS checked. They do not have any special powers like the Police, but they are able to attend when the Police cannot, and they can secure the vehicle. This can only be actioned if the vehicle is on public land/highway. If the vehicle is on private property we will still need to liaise with the Police directly.
RF – Recovery
When RF is required – Should Police or Securitas be unable to pinpoint the exact location of the vehicle due to there being a number of garages, containers or buildings we will then deploy our team to use the RF feature that will allow us to pinpoint to within a metre and identify the door the vehicle is behind and allow Police if required, to obtain a Warrant. Without this Police will not be able to proceed.
